Arrangements

I approach each arrangement with a unique stylistic lens. Some stay close to the original, aiming to capture the essence of the song using only voices. With others I take creative liberties, reimagining the material to offer a fresh interpretation.

At times, I arrange in a “vertical” style, common in contemporary a cappella, where the focus is on harmonic textures and the spacing between voices. In other cases, I lean into a more “horizontal” or melodic approach, inspired by traditional choral writing, where musical interest comes from the interplay between independent vocal lines. Many of me arrangements blend both styles, shifting organically between the two.

I also offer custom arrangements tailored to your ensemble’s strengths and needs. Commissioned works are typically completed within 2–3 weeks and typically cost $500.
